fATHER’S DAY ASADO

This Father’s Day, let’s celebrate dads, husbands, uncles, best friends, and family for a perfect Sunday of slow outdoor cooking and shared stories around a fire.

Join us for an authentic Argentine-inspired outdoor culinary experience on our farm.

Our chef, Ian Chislett, will join Special Guest, Chef Coco Gaona of Tiempo, to prepare a traditional Argentinean asado.

An asado is a rustic yet refined outdoor fire experience that is as much about a social gathering as it is about the food and drink.

Cooking in its most elemental form - with the entire meal being prepared slowly over fire & embers - the ritual of building the fire begins early in the morning and is tended to throughout the day until it reaches the right temperature. The fire preparation and slow attention to all the details surrounding it are as important to the experience as are the ingredients.

Premium cuts of meat, fresh veggies, and artisanal bread, paired with our beer and local wine are essential parts of a perfect asado & will be served at this special event.

June 16th | 1-4pm
$45 per person includes the Asado experience, a selection of slow fire-cooked meats, sides, and your choice of beer or wine upon arrival.

Pinot Saison

Barrel aging Summer Saison in local Pinot Noir barrels lends this brew a slight vanilla and tart vinous character, complementing the hints of banana and clove from Escarpments Labs’ French Saison yeast.

ABV: 5.3% IBUS: 17

Kilted Mouse

We took our Mousetrap Rye Pale Ale and aged it in rum barrels and out came a masterpiece - Caribbean spices on the nose and palate contribute a warming effect balanced by a mild sugar cane sweetness reminiscent of a Scotch Ale. Dangerously smooth.

ABV: 8.5% IBUS: 45

Our Community

We are proud to call Prince Edward County home. We moved to The County to raise a family in a place that reflects the 'salt of the earth' qualities that have always inspired us as individuals, and that now inspire us as a family. We found just that in this beautiful County.  (click to read more)
